Specifically, I’ll be posting details on water-hardened leather vambraces, spaulders, cuisses, and cuirasses, as well as modification to full-hand gauntlets, helm linings, and construction of a gambeson.
Basically, everything a new fighter needs - based on my learning how to do them. Expect lots of links, photos, and general awesomeness.
Also expect lots of newbie mistakes.
But hey, I’m an engineer - I make a mistake once, document it, and then don’t repeat it. Normally.
My general goal is to have an armor kit that is completely free of modern fabrics and materials, and whose construction is as documentably period as possible while still meeting minimum armor standards.
